My research is focused on developing energy-efficient solutions for high-performance, mobile and ubiquitous micro- and nano-systems following four power-centric research thrusts that cover the entire range from physical sensing to data sense-making:
-circuit- to system-level techniques to enhance the energy-efficiency of VLSI circuits (including ultra-low power read-out circuits, digital signal processing, power management, and cognitive systems);
-enabling energy-efficient data sense-making via innovative approaches to embed on-chip machine learning and inference;
-enabling sensor fusion/cognition acceleration via innovative bionic signal processors;
-reliability management and error-resilient low-power VLSI circuits and systems (both error-free and error-aware computing are of interest).
